I had an odd thing happen recently. I was having trouble seeing with my glasses on but I could see better without them. I thought maybe my prescription had changed so I went in for an exam to determine what was going on. It turns out that after decades of having to wear glasses, my eyes had reverted to 20/20. That’s not the case for Emma Brody (Madeline Stowe). An operation gives her back some sight but she sees distorted faces and, on occasion, delayed images of who is in her line of sight. This makes it awkward when she is witness to a murder. Her brain is taking time to process images but the killer is out looking for her.
