Mickey Blue Eyes (1999)

Mickey Blue Eyes

It always seemed kinda stupid but, I suppose, somewhat romantic when a marriage proposal is surrounded by a actions dependent upon the participation of others. Michael Felgate (Hugh Grant) has organized that a personal fortune be put into a Chinese restaurant’s cookie. It goes to another couple, surprising him and causing her to break into tears. When Gina Vitale (Jeanne Tripplehorn) gets the correct one, she declines Michael’s offer while the restaurant owner (Lori Tan Chinn) rattles on to her staff in Chinese.
