Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988)

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

A private eye always has to do things they’d rather not have to do. But this is their burden. Solving mysteries in other people’s lives and ignoring the ones in their own. Private dick Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) is not a fan of Toons since his brother was killed by one of their falling pianos. But he agrees reluctantly to clear Roger Rabbit who was framed for the murder of human nightclub owner Marvin Acme (Stubby Kaye). He thinks that the culprit may be Roger’s wife, Jessica Rabbit (speaking voice of Kathleen Turner, singing voice of Amy Irving), who is a torch singer in Toontown. But she is able to convince him of her innocence (“I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way.”) and suggest he look at Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd).
