Edison Force (2005)

Edison Force

Sometimes a choice will turn your life on its head. We may have a brief moment to decide whether to it is worth going in that direction but, more often than not, we have little idea of its consequence. Such is the decision facing Josh Pollack (Justin Timberlake), a vague newsman who wants to report on more than just the highlights of the city’s events, when he finds evidence of police corruption. He has to choose whether it is something he wants to pursue but it isn’t obvious what it will mean for him and those around him. An almost lethal beating of his girlfriend Willow Summerfield (Piper Perabo) and him by what he soon realizes are some of the corrupt cops gives him pause. Had the attack not happened, he likely would have let the story go but now he’s leaning towards investigating further regardless of the effect it’ll have.
